There is no question that Apple is going to jump into 4K Ultra High Definition content in a big way. Their Mac Pro just announced in June will have three 4K video ports, ultra high speed fusion drives and the new thunderbolt 2.0 with twice the troughput of the already lightning fast thunderbolt to support this cutting edge technology.
will increase 4K support and Apple products across the board will get an increase in clarity and definition unimaginable ten years ago. Expect much higher resolution iPads, iPhones and iPods as well as MacBooks and iMacs in the coming years.
With competitors Sony, Samsung, LG and Vizio already fully investing in 4K content and manufacturing products based on the amazingly high definition 2160p standard, Apple is sure to stake out a space in this new territory.
While there are many questions that remain to be answered, we can be sure that the new iTV or Mac UltraHD TV or whatever it is called will be elegant, with the best in-TV Apps and will ship with a world class, next generation Apple Cinema Display.
